Top image is from John Stanley's immortal classic THE MONSTER OF DREAD END which somehow appeared in a Dell comic called Ghost Stories circa 1961. It was a great story that made no sense and didn't need to. It was like a nightmare and the monster was just a huge snakey thing with a clawed hand for a head that crept up walls and into windows, snatched sleeping children, and proceeded to crush them and suck their juices out through pores in its "palm". Yum. Anyway I did a "fumetti" adaptation of the story adding just a couple of minor gross story points but hopefully respecting the material.
