For some reason this one kind of creeps me out. I think it's the implication that if you've got an eight hundred pound head, you're either ripped or Modok.
I've been getting a kick out of these -- nice to see James getting some love. To my mind, he's the big ghost story writer, the yardstick.
Wouldn't you have to be ripped to carry agiant head? Or Modok needed his power chair because he was a wimp! Thanks, BTW! Yeah, M R James was the best. One of HPL's faves too, as you probably know. more anon.
